I left the doctor's office feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. My physician hadn't really listened to what I was saying or explained things in terms I could understand. Had he desired anything as deeply as I longed to become pregnant? Was he even able to empathize with what I was experiencing? The need for physicians in all fields to really listen to what their patients are saying and feeling is universal. Doctors need to be held accountable for their actions. Only by educating ourselves as to what we can do to ensure this end, will progress be made.
